Taleigha “T” Vanderlyn Greene, 10, passed away at her home in Central Park surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, August 10, 2013, after battling a brain tumor. Taleigha was born May 22, 2003, in Aberdeen to Tony Greene and Tonya Bowen. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her, but missed most by her large family.
The small hands of a child wrap easily around our adult hearts. I don’t remember the first time we met, it seems as though we have always loved her. Much like her pictures, Taleigha was always smiling and laughing. Her silly and spontaneous nature, and crazy sense of humor and style made her unique.
