Edward Hermann Hulbert, 93, passed away due to cancer on July 2, 2016, in Olympia, Wash. He was born July 12, 1922, to Fred and Ursala Hulbert in Aberdeen, Wash. He graduated from Aberdeen’s Weatherwax High School, and Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, Calif. He served in the U.S. Air Force in 1942 during World War II. A 70-year resident of West Olympia, he was self-employed in the lumber, oil and real estate industries.
