David Lee Proctor, 69, a lifetime resident of Hoquiam and retired Longshoreman for the Port of Grays Harbor, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Rainier Vista Care Center in Puyallup, Wash. David was born on December 5, 1943, in Aberdeen to Harold and Phyllis (Jasper) Proctor. He graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1963.
He worked with his dad as a painter for McCullough Painters. He also was a gill-netter and owned his own boat the “Little r”. He retired in 2006 as a Longshoreman for the ILWU, long shoring at the Port of Grays Harbor.
