Beverly Bayne Luce Hood Bailey, 85, was the youngest of five children born to Vivian and Eva Luce in Hoquiam, Washington on July 17, 1927. She passed away of congestive heart failure on June 21, 2013, at home, surrounded by her family. Bev was a devoted mother and a gentle soul who did not judge others.
Bev grew up in Aberdeen, Washington and graduated from Weatherwax High School. On April 27, 1946, she married Stanley Hood in Aberdeen where they raised their four daughters, Renee, Richenda, Rebecca and Roxanne Hood. After Stan’s death in 1967, Bev married Glenn M. Bailey Jr. on February 14, 1970, a widower with a daughter, Cheryl, and son, Glenn III.
