Ida Laura Pearson, 90, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center with her niece, Debbie by her side. Ida was born June 30, 1922, in Willapa, Wash., to Fred and Edith (Ellsworth) Caton. Ida was the oldest of four siblings, Donald Caton (deceased), Lois Caton Buchanan of Willapa, Cleora Caton Fisher of Aberdeen; and her sister-in-law, Bea Caton of Cosmopolis.
She graduated from Valley High School in 1941. Ida was a wonderful cook and homemaker who liked to crochet afghans that she gifted to her family.
