On January 26, 2013, Ruth Violet (Roeder) Vanderslice, 86, passed away in Centralia at her daughter’s residence. Her husband, Robert ,preceded her in death in 1991. She was born in the Bronx, New York City, on November 25, 1926, to Ethel Lytle and George W Roeder.
She is survived by a sister, Dorothy (Richard) Morrissey of Davis, California; a son, James of Federal Way; and daughters, Janet (Gary) Door of Edgewood, Judy (Greg) Welsh of Centralia and Jean (Frank) Gardiner of Black Diamond; six grandchildren and four great-grand children.
