David Samuel Bussard, a Harbor resident of almost 80 years passed-away on Thursday, December 27, 2012, in Centralia. He was 98. David was born December 11, 1914, in Tryon, Nebraska to Henry Clayton and Lucy Lucille (Prosie) Bussard. He grew up and attended school through the 8th grade in Nebraska.
David came to Washington as a young man during the dust bowl days of the 1930’s. He went to work in the timber industry and dairy farming. He went on to work at mills in McCleary, Hoquiam and Copalis crossing before retiring to Oakville.
