Mary Vincent, 70, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Aberdeen, Wash. of health related issues. Our beloved Mary was born April 21, 1946 in Colusa, Calif. to William (Bill) E Pryor and Ruth O’Gwin Pryor. She and Gary Hamby were married in 1964 and had three children Hope, Dean and Chad. They lived in Orland and Paradise Calif. for many years. Mary lost Gary to cancer in 1987, and moved to Oregon around 1990, first to Grants Pass, then settling in Gold Beach. There she met and married William (Bill) Vincent. In 2001 Bill’s work took them to Aberdeen, Wash. Mary’s jobs in Gold Beach included manager of Chris’s Market, Mentor (then Coos-Curry Transitional House) and caregiver for her father-in-law Eugene Vincent. But her favorite job was being a housewife and caring for her family.
