Richard Leland David Hulbert of Elma, Wash., passed away at Tacoma General Hospital on July 25, 2016. He was 62. Richard was born May 1, 1954, to Leonard and Dorothy (Klahn) Hulbert in Aberdeen, Wash., and was raised in Copalis Beach. At age 14, Richard moved to Elma, Wash., where he graduated high school and enlisted in the United States Navy; serving a tour in Vietnam and transferring to the Navel Reserve. He then attended Grays Harbor Community College.
