Ann McCartney Martin Shrader, age 92, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2016, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Aberdeen. From her birth in Bo’ness, Scotland, on Dec. 22, 1923, Ann was proud of her Scottish heritage, always in possession of her British passport, while holding a United States green card. She could never quite sever ties with the auld country, and commit to the U.S. as her permanent home.
