Doris Maia Rogers, 78, of Iliff, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, in Sterling, Colo. Services will be held at a later date.
Doris was born on April 15, 1934, in Aberdeen, Washington, to Arthur Hyndman and Bernice Renz. She went to school at St. Aquinas Academy in Tacoma. She was a longtime cook at the Hub Café in Hoquiam, Wash. She married George Rogers on May 17, 1958, in Tenino, Wash. They were married for 54 years. She loved spending time at their second home in Yuma, Ariz. for the past 17 years.
