Randi, 62, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2012 after a two year struggle with cancer. Randi lived a full life involved with family and friends. Her two granddaughters brought much joy into her life. She delighted in sharing time by volunteering in their classrooms, attending athletic activities and going to special theater events. With an open home and heart, Randi taught the girls the secrets of her chocolate chip cookies to carry on the baking tradition.
The oldest of five children, Randi was born May 2, 1950, in Aberdeen, Washington. She graduated from Ocosta High School in Westport in 1968. Moving to Olympia in 1974 she attended OVTI, completing her medical assistant certification. She then worked in pediatric and orthopedic clinics for several years.
