Andrew Juan Kolb died unexpectedly on Aug. 15, 2015. He was 26 years old. Andrew was born in Guatemala (Juan Alejandro Mateo) and lived there until he was two, when he came to Aberdeen to join his adoptive family. He lived the rest of his life in Aberdeen. He was baptized at the Aberdeen First Presbyterian Church, attended McDermoth Elementary School and Miller Junior High. He graduated from Aberdeen High School where his favorite class was weight lifting. Andrew was always very personable and made friends easily. It was hard not to like him. He was kind, big-hearted, generous and thoughtful. He had a great sense of humor and a terrific smile. He liked to eat (especially Mexican food, pizza, and holiday dinners), play video games, watch movies, read, play pool and ride his scooter. He also wrote poetry, sketched, took good pictures with his cell phone, and really understood computers.
