Etheleen T. “Ennie” Hanson, age 83, a resident of Grays Harbor for over 50 years, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, in Aberdeen. She was born on Nov. 16, 1931, in Buh Township, Minn. to Alfred and H. Marie Boser. She grew up in Minnesota. Ennie married Donald Hanson in Shelton, Wash. in 1981. He preceded her death. She worked in many shake mills and later spent time as a homemaker. She enjoyed Elma races, walking, puzzles, barbeques and spending her time with friends and family. She made the most beautiful quilts, afghans and embroidery. She was a wonderful mother and friend and will be missed beyond belief. She is survived by Debbie Wessel, Aberdeen, Steve MacRae, Woodinville, Don Hanson Jr. and Julie Fruchella, both from Aberdeen and Charleen Hanson of Shelton, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
