After a courageous two year battle with cancer, Aberdeen resident Timothy Robinson passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012. He was 52 years old. Tim was born in Aberdeen on December 6, 1959 to Trafford and Leona Mae Robinson. Tim attended Hoquiam High School. At the age of 17 he met his lifetime sweetheart and soon to be wife of 32 years, Leontine “Tina” Russell.
Tim and Tina were married at the First Baptist Church of Hoquiam on March 1, 1980. They went on to have 3 children. Tim worked at ITT Rayonier, until its closing. He was a longtime employee of Grays Harbor Paper, and he also worked as a lumber hauler for Schaben and Westling of Elma. Then in 2006, Andy and Tonya Anderson helped provide Tim with the opportunity of a lifetime by helping him acquire the knowledge and skills in operating a 10 car auto transporter. This helped him achieve his lifetime dream of owning and operating his own business. Due to his illness he was forced to shut down T&R Auto Transport in 2010.
