Lifetime resident of Westport, Wash., Mildred Irene (Caldwell) Fisher died at the age of 90 on Nov. 20, 2014, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was born Aug. 11, 1924, in Aberdeen, Wash., to Byron and Mae Caldwell. She married Charles F. Fisher on July 2, 1948. They were married 51 years until he preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1999. She was a member of the Post Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars 3057 for more than 35 years and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Survivors include a son, Ronald G. Baxter (Judy) of Surprise, Ariz.; a daughter, Carol J. Strode (Wayne) of Aberdeen, Wash.; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren a great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
