Richard “Dick” Green, 81, died Monday, March 10, 2014, at Providence St. Peters Hospital in Olympia, with his wife, Mary K., by his side. He was born February 21, 1933, to Hilda and Fenton Green in Chehalis. Dick attended Buckley schools through the 7th grade before moving to South Bend where he graduated from South Bend High School in 1951. Following high school graduation, Dick attended and played football at Grays Harbor College prior to serving in the United States Army.
