Robert Lee Smith, 87, died on September 12, 2012, in Olympia, surrounded by his family. Robert was born in Kansas. Robert proudly served in World War II, as a United States Marine.

Smith of McCleary; sister, Melba Wheeler of Concordia, Kansas; brother, Arnold Smith of Olympia; son, Rocky Smith and wife, Terry of Olympia; daughters, Terry and husband, Jim of Kenai, Alaska, Julie and husband, John of McCleary, Marilea and husband, Grieg of Stephenville, Texas, Rhonda and husband, Zane of Wyoming and Ranita and husband, Doug of Florida; sons, Rick and wife, Eunice of Idaho and Randy of South Bend; grandsons, Rob, Jason, Lenny, Nicolas, Joshua, Aaron, Travis, Rick, and Ryan, granddaughters, Janice, Carrie, Rachael, Shawna, Wannette, Madalon, Elaine, Amber, Autumn, Amy, Christina, Csinya and Hannah; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren
