Dorothy Maude Hoogeveen, 100 years of age and a Hoquiam resident since 1945, died on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at her home in Hoquiam. She was born on June 26, 1913, in Belgrade, Montana, to John Volney and Beatrice Maude (Birt) Kenyon. She attended grade school in Carlton, Oregon. The family moved to McMinnville, Oregon where she attended high school and received a B.A. Degree from Linfield College in 1935.
