Terence Roy Crane, a resident of McCleary, was born on January 2, 1966, in Sedro Woolley, Wash. He was the first baby born at United General Hospital that year. Due to complications from influenza, Terry took his final breath and left his earthly body on January 25, 2014, in Portland, Ore. Terry was baptized at St. Catherine’s Mission in Concrete, Wash., as an infant, and his godparents, Frank and Ann DuFour, are family friends to this day. While he was still a toddler, the family moved to Jamestown, Calif., and eventually settled at a home on Jim Brady Road. He attended Jamestown Elementary and graduated from Sonora High School in 1984. During his school years, he made many lifelong friends and the stories about their escapades are legendary among them.
