Penny Mae Stricevich passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013. Penny was born in the small town of Hamburg, North Dakota. In her teen years she moved to Seattle, Washington, where she graduated from Roosevelt High School. She then put herself through Beauty School and became a licensed beautician and hairdresser.
While attending a wedding for a friend, she met the love of her life, Louie Stricevich and after a wonderful courtship they were married. They then moved to the Harbor where Louie’s family was from. They enjoyed 47 wonderful years together. They loved camping, picnicking and traveling together. Penny owned and operated her own beauty parlor called Penny’s Beauty Patio. She sang for her parish at Our Lady of Good Help in Hoquiam. Penny enjoyed bowling and playing pinochle with her friends, and she loved sitting on her deck on sunny days.
